What could be wrong? What should I do?

What could be wrong? What should I do?
This girl's been ignoring me since early this week, starting a day after I confessed to her (we talked a lot before she began ignoring me). I sent her a text that got her angry (though it's because she misread my intentions and thought I was calling her a user, which I apologised to her about), but rang her up and smoothed things over. Or so I thought.

We were talking ok on FB but she deactivated her acc without saying anything, then re-activated it two or three days later. She's back now, and she's seen what I've said, but she hasn't replied. She hasn't replied to my calls either (tried twice w/in 15 mins, on Monday or Tuesday, and once on Saturday, so 3 altogether) -- they go to voicemail. Make of that what you will. It's not like we're best friends, but I've known her for eleven years and I've been a decent guy the whole time, so she knows I'm not just some creep. It's pretty brutal that she's just ignoring me, especially after I offered to back off and leave her alone if she gave the word.

She hasn't given the word. She's still reading my messages on FB when she could just block me. I feel like blanking me is a grade-A dick move on her part, seeing as she knows she can get rid of me so has no good reason to be doing this. I've made up her mind to ask her why and -- if she still doesn't reply -- unfriend her.

What do you think?

I get the feeling that her abusive ex has reappeared -- the phone thing seems a bit out of character, and he cuts her off.. but I don't know.
Oh, and to give some context, this is following a period of calling and texting and skyping all day, and it wasn't one sided.

She might just want her space from you and not know how to politely or gently phrase that. After knowing one of my good friends for several years, he told me he was in love with me and it made things super awkward. I pretended I was fine with it and wanted to be friends but in reality it was weird to talk to him after that, and I began avoiding him a bit.
