Not if you literally just stream you playing games. It is not that simple. Streaming looks a lot simpler than it is.
Let's just assume you're actually good at streaming, for simplicity's sake. If so, then after some time Twitch will recognise your consistently high viewership and make you a partner. This means that they will allocate a portion of your ad revenue to you and you'll receive in your bank account. Then, another thing that can happen (but not necessarily) is that you can get a subscribe button. People can pay $4.99 USD to be a subscriber to your channel. They'll get a special icon next to their name, and chat icons. You need to create both of those. Apply here: http://www.twitch.tv/p/apply To get a debit card, which you usually need to receive and spend money online, you usually need to be 16, or use a parent's credit/debit card. And if you start streaming with the aim of making money from it, you will not succeed. Ever. You need to be doing it because you enjoy it and make money be a nice bonus (you shouldn't expect money to happen, either. It's not an easy thing to get). Most streamers have been regular streamers of upwards of two years. The general minimum requirements are that you must have an average of 500 viewers all the time in each stream, and you have to stream at least 3 times a week. Those are the minimum requirements, and don't guarantee you a partner position, they just make it potentially possible for you to get one. |
