Is it possible that someone could post an embarrassing facebook page using your name and photo?

If so, how would you know? I see facebook accounts with the same name as me, but not able to see all the photos or any of the pages? So I deactivated the account I set up. I wanted to be sure no one would post fake stuff on there about me.

make a fake account and friend them. easiest way to find out if they add you.

yes you can make a page with any name and picture you want, people pretend to be other people all the time

Well, yes, they could. Chances are it just might be someone with the same name as you.
If someone does create a false page pretending to be you, they could be arrested.
