yahoo mail will not send; it places messages in drafts instead.?

I finish writing an email and hit "send" but nothing happens. So I hit "send" again. Again, nothing. I point the cursor on "Mail" and it takes me back to incoming mail, where I can then go to drafts, get the message I have just written, and send it from there.

This has just started happening-- the only thing I have done to the computer is update Firefox to a current version.
Well, because I hadn't made any changes to the server settings (because I don't know how to!) I decided to try the second answer and sign in to Yahoo mail with IE. And the problem went away!

Now do I have to contact Firefox about this? I really like that browser and don't much like IE.

Did you make the changes to the new yahoo server settings? If not here they are.
Yahoo changed their servers. You need to make the following changes as yahoo mail is a pop 3 server.

Incoming Port995
SSLYES
Outgoing Port465
SSLYes

Once you do that your email will work again.

It wouldn't hurt to try Yahoo Mail on a different browser (IE or Google Chrome) to see if the problem goes away.
