What does it mean to complete a security check on Facebook?

I don't know what happened but when I tried to login on Facebook it said account temporarily unavailable, and that Facebook needed to opened a browser on safari, so I did the steps, but then this question came in asking to complete a security check and it also asked me to choose one of the following methods to confirm your identity, but they don't show no methods. I need help

Hi Karina
Look in the address bar of internet explorer at the top saying 'https://www' what does it say after this.
If it does not say facebook.com then you are not on facebook as there are scammers out there after your information as well as everybody else's, if this is the case put the following in the internet explorer 'address bar': https://www.facebook.com then press enter and always check your address bar for correct facebook address.
