My Facebook Disabled??
My friend said she was gonna send me a message on facebook. I tried logging in and a message came up saying, "Your account has been disabled" I WAS FURIOUS!!!! What is my account being disabled for, I hardly send messages, I hardly do anything on there, and I hardly even log in. My page isn't even fully developed yet and my account is disabled!

How do I get access back, or how can I contact the facebook people?

Several things can get your account disabled.

1. You could have gotten hacked by falling for a phishing scam

2. You maybe have had some pictures up violating the terms of agreement

3. You could have started a facebook group with inappropriate content like sexual, racist or other offensive content

4. You could have been reported for harassment or other while using facebook or one of the applications.

5. You could have copyrighted material such as music on your facebook which also violates the terms of agreement

The list is long really. The most common is getting hacked through a fishing scam like an email telling you you need to log in to your facebook within 48 hours or face deletion..these emails usually provide a link which is part of the scam and not an official facebook page. Once you type in your login and password the hacker has your information.

Contacting Facebook is an exercise in futility. It can take months before they respond to you since they are dealing with thousands of these cases on a daily basis (no I'm not kidding). You are better off creating a new account.

You really have to get smart when it comes to phishing scams because you stand to lose a lot more than just a facebook account. If you use sites such as Ebay and you fall for one of those scams they would have access to your financial information. Phishing scams has existed forever even before the internet where you would get them through snail mail.

Facebook might have a problem with your account if it has not stopped after 4 days. Try using the following emails to get in touch

warning@facebook.com
info@facebook.com
disabled@facebook.com
