How can I comfort a girl ?

My nanny was looking on her Facebook page and she read something on there that was very sad I read it too and it was sad I started to cry but then she was crying so I stopped cause I love her and I wanted to be brave for her. It was about a little boy who lost his life today because he had cancer he didn't look very old they didn't say how old he was. I'd say he probably looked about between 7 or 10 years old. He looked very young. My nanny started crying her eyes out when she read that I just gave her a hug but I didn't know what els to do for her. Now she's saying she doesn't want to have a kid. Since this wasn't her kid or anyone she knew why was she crying ? How can I comfort her ? Im also a girl. Is it ok for her to cry ? She's 29 years old.

It sounds like she could have had a family member that also passed from cancer? My best guess is it was because there is a disease that can not be cured that children are dying from and she's afraid that if she has kids they will die young too. TO comfort her just tell her that god just decided he wanted her/him hack in heaven and they all go to heaven. That's what I would do. Word it however you like though
