My white iPhone 4 is stuck on Instagram and I can't use it for ANYTHING else!

I was just on instagram and I wanted to quit only my iPhone wouldn't let me? I tried powering off and clicking the home button, but nothing happened. I tried sticking that pin that came in the box into its side but again, nothing happened. Then I tried calling it, plugging it into the charger and iTunes, but it remained completely unresponsive. The only time clicking on the home/power buttons has any effect is when I press them simultaneously and my phone takes a screenshot of whatever is on the screen. The volume buttons and ringer buttons work normally though.

I can scroll and browse through instagram normally, even click on the various explore and news feed tabs. But I can't access anything else. I don't even get notifications! Help!

Hold the power and the home button for 30 seconds. It should reboot.

Go to the local apple store they might give you a new iphone 4, fix your iphone, or might and i'm saying might even give you an iphone 5 update even if your phone is brand new because its just not working correctly
