Ebay payment method via Paypal?

hey I sold some shorts the other day and the handling time was 4 days, and the person who bought it paid via paypal and it was in my paypal account before i even shipped it

Is the case with most people because now im selling some more shorts and i need their payment to come to my paypal before i ship it in order to pay for shipping

I never send goods I sell on ebay until I have received payment although it is best to have a small fund just in case it takes a while for paypal to release the funds.

It is good that they paid you immediately. Visa / MasterCard has regulations about this, And it is somewhat of a catch 22. When a merchant sells something, the transaction is processed that day - and whatever amount it is, it is guaranteed yours when the batch process is ran that night. The card associations are making sure you are getting paid and their customer wants his / her product.

You will run into issues with them (especially American Express) if you say the product will be there on Friday but did not arrive until Monday. The merchant can return it.

I could not locate anything specific in their policies, I would maybe call them and let them know I received the payment on my auction and I am getting ready to mail it, I was just curious what would happen if on the way to the post office I had an accident?

I would imagine that it matters what you have posted / told the customer, For example, did the customer pay overnight? You have to watch what you say in the ad and make sure you honor it

Rather than using paypal i would advice you to service of ebay;s paisa pay its good option to avoid chargeback
