if you lock your account so only friends can see is there way to stop people from findimg you?

I have people who i cannot let them find out i got twitter for personal reasons and its really serious its not just because i dislike someone

If i lock my account is there any extra security measures i can add?

I dont want the public seeing my profile pic aswell which is my main problem

Ur probably thinking whats the point of twitter if u do that but i just want to add the friends i want and to avoid certain ppl stalking me on twitter due to reasons i cant say

I know u cant see tweets friends pics if u lock the account but do u have any way to stop being found on searches

Also any tips to avoid being found by certain ppl in my case? Eg put a complicated twitter name etc

There's no 100% way to do it. By design, social networks are set up to make it easy to find people. There are privacy measures, but anyone who wants to can find a way around it. Your best bet is to just stay off it (it's all over-rated anyway). Or create an account with a fake name and a fake picture.
