best laptop under 500?

I need a laptop I only have around 300MAX

fl studio
just general stuff but still want a good 1

i would not recommend windows 8. such a stupid os. there are ways to get win 7 cheaply,such as if you are a student at a college or work for a company with an IT department,they may be able to install win 7 free for you. contact me and i can help you better. jdbj32m@yahoo.com

Is your computer really beyond repair? Have you asked a shop if they can fix it, upgrade it, and how much it would cost? Major problems like they're not starting are often easily fixable.

That said there are a lot of new laptops being advertised in various shops for £275 to £350 that have good specifications. All you need really is to ensure that it can play music and the fl program whatever that is. They can all get any website but the more ram you have the better but 1gb is enough. Similarly 4 usb ports is better than 2 but 2 is enough.
