EBay help please, some advice please?
I listed an item and someone bid on it and won it. I had clearly put on pick up only. Well I went to check if they lived near by and turns out they live in Ireland and I live in England!.. I don't think they are gonna fly over to get some 99p shoes. I have messaged them about it but no reply yet. I'm wondering what to do next? Do I need to contact eBay to repay the listing fees or anything.

Give them a chance! Maybe their brother/sister lives in the next road to you!

YOu have a few days before cancelling the auction/doing an unpaid strike - relisting is free under those circumstances.

Give them chance to pay first, four or five days then if you've received nothing:-
Go to your ebay home page
click on the account button
click on resolution centre
fill in the details for your buyer not paying and in about ten days you can close the open case, as it is called, and your fees will automatically be refunded and the buyer will get a mark against their name as a non payer.

Go into your ebay page and bring up the 'Sold' list, on the RH side is a little drop down menu and one of then things on it is resolve a problem. click on that and ask to cancel the transaction by mutual consent. ebay will then email the seller asking them if they agree to cancel the transaction. If they say yes then ebay will nullify it.

LOL ofcourse you can contact eBay to repay you your 8p listing fees. Chances are that the person from Ireland will walk over to pick up his shoes, that is how the Irish are, very determined people and now all you have to do is to wait for a few months for him to turn up at your doorstep and pay for the shoes before he wears them to walk back to Ireland.

Just make sure you don't use the shoes in the meantime because they now belong to him. Play fair.
