Is social media world superficial ?

I mean that everyone is fake there and pretending to be happy there? Is this true or false ?

I think the question is loaded.
If a person using social media is superficial, I'm sure there's times that superficiality is enhanced.
All the same, there may well be, on average, a higher level of superficiality in each individual using a social medium. but that doesn't mean social media is superficial, nor does it mean anyone using social media for any purpose is being superficial.
