Read our FB conversation and tell me if I have a shot with her?
This is more of a dating question, but in the 'singles and dating' section it's mostly teens, so I'm posting here to reach an older crowd.

I met a girl a few weeks ago. She’s a lot younger. We seemed to hit it off and added each other on Facebook.

Below please read our Facebook interactions and tell me if you feel I have a chance.

Feb 10th I sent her some info on an artistic project of mine.

Jen (Feb 11):
Hi mike! Thanks for sending over the page info about your project. I cannot wait to see it!

Mike (Feb 11): You will! I enjoyed talking to you. Want to have lunch sometime?

Jen (Feb 12):
Yes that would be great!

Mike (Feb 14):
Happy Valentine's Day!

Jen (Feb 14):
Thank you! Happy valentines to you as well.

Mike (Feb 20): Hey Jen, Would you like to have lunch with me next week? What day is best for you?

Jen (Feb 21):
I don't know if I will be able to meet during the week. We don't really take lunch where I work... We work through it. I would be happy to meet on the weekend or maybe we could get a coffee one morning?

Mike (Feb 23) Sunday:
I understand. I know exactly how it is at a busy job. Especially for a talented girl like you. At work I rarely have time to get lunch, or even breathe Smile Are you free for dinner Saturday?

Jen: (Feb 27) Thursday:
Hey Mike! Sorry I just now saw this... Yes I do have plans for dinner already on Saturday how about another day? I could always meet after work.

So this is the FB conversation we had over several days. Based on this dialogue, do you feel I have a shot with her?

Ask one more time ,,,, for an after work date .

If she makes excuses again then tell her to contact you when she has an available opening .

Sometimes the best way to get a chicks attention is to stop pursuing her .

She sounds worried to meet you, she could be worried you are not who she thought you were, worried for her own safety? I think if you can reassure her you will not harm her then you sound like you maybe in with a shot Smile

It looks like she's just interested in friendship, dude. As soon as you make it more obvious you like her, she starts putting on the breaks. She doesn't want to meet on the weekend ... but a more casual situation like after work. i.e. Not a date.

I say you have no chance. The fact that you routinely allow a few to several days elapse between your replies, says that this isn't very important to you. You can bet that she is picking up on that too.
