Can someone please tell me how to fix Black Screen on YouTube?
When I go on a YouTube video 50% of the time the video is just a blank screen with audio.
This only happens in chrome bot IE, but if i go to my likes or history in YouTube the video will not have a blank screen. I've tried re-installing Google Chrome, java script and Abode flash. Could someone please help me also deleted cache and cookies and still doesn't work putting it in 720p doesn't work either Ads |

Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies?
If all else fails, it's a problem with Youtube and not you. Problems like this tend to be resolved in a matter of hours, or maybe a day at best (in my experience). Ads |

You need to put the video up to 720p. This also happens to me , but I learned to fix it from killer keemstar.

Is there any "About the HTML5 player" when you right click the video?
if that so, click it. Look if you're currently using the HTML5 player. If not, click "Request the HTML5 player" . Then go back to your video and refresh it. If there's no option about html5 player instead there is "About Adobe Flash Player..." click it and install the latest version. I hope that helps. ^.^ |

Other possibilities + solutions:
-- Turn off your modem AND router for 30 seconds, and then turn them back on again. -- Right-click any video, click "Settings" and uncheck "Enable Hardware Acceleration". -- Disable any Adblock add-on, play a video; then re-enable the Adblock the next day. -- You might have a conflict with another player, (Chrome Pepperflash or Real Player).    If that's the case, disable/uninstall it, and when you'd like it back, simply reinstall it. -- Disable your AV utility while on YouTube, since you can't get a virus from YouTube. -- You may unknowingly be using ''HTML5'' rather than "Flash''. To be sure, click here    http://www.youtube.com/html5 and opt out. :-) |

I did everything you suggested above, but only till deleting months and perhaps years of cache and cookies, the YT became normal. I thank you for your suggestion.
