Should I wish my ex's mom happy birthday?
My ex and I dated for a little over four years. We broke it off a month ago because we just didn't feel it anymore.
His family was nice and polite (most members were) but I never felt like I fit in. I didn't share common interests with them and always felt like a tag-along because I was their son's bf.
His mom was nice and always tried the most to make me feel included. She's the poster child of desperate housewife and certain traits of hers annoyed me. One Christmas, I got a half a bag of chocolate among with a few other things. For someone who brags about buying two $500 handbags a week, I felt like a charity case. I told my bf that and he flipped.
His mom's birthday is coming up and I don't know if I should send her a fb message, a text or a card. I'm afraid my ex-bf has bad talked to her and am embarrassed but feel wishing her a happy birthday is the right thing to do. Thoughts?

I think if you guys are done then you shouldnt send her anything in a text or email, but if you do it on fb then itll better since everyone can see it
Good Luck

If it comes from the heart and if you want to keep contact with the family, then by all means send the card. However, if you feel you 'should or have to' send a b-day greeting, then no. If the break up is final, then it's best to just move along in peace.
