YouTube not playing HD anymore on Google Chrome?

For some reason YouTube videos now have stopped working in HD on Google Chrome.

The video starts playing (in 360p) I then try to change it to HD (720p) then the screen just goes black and the video stops playing (the quality says it's at 240p at this point)

At first I was unable to go fullscreen as well but I went to chrome://plugins and disabled "PepperFlash\pepflashplayer.dll", this let me watch videos on full screen again but I'm still unable to watch them in HD.

This just started happening today as well.


Is there any way I can get my videos to play in HD again?
Forgot to mention. The same videos will play in HD on Firefox though.

First Sync Chrome to your Google account, then uninstall Google Chrome and re install it again. You don't have to Sync it to your Google account really that's up to you.

sometimes it may be fixed if you can do uninstall it,and then install it again.but you should see that your graphics driver is ok or not ?

I have the same problem. Synced my accounts, uninstalled, and re installed but I still receive the same problem.
