How can I order things on Amazon and ensure they WON'T be delivered by the U.S. Postal Service?
The Post Office for my area is incompetent & or lazy etc., unhelpful, and they have a bad attitude. They lose things; they don't care and get an attitude with me. SO when I order from Amazon (or any other site) I'd like to be sure the delivery isn't done by the U.S. Postal Service. But I can't tell with Amazon. You get your choice of suppliers for an item, but the supplier isn't necessarily the one delivering the package. I don't see the deliverer indicated anywhere. Ideally I'd like to have packages delivered by United Parcel Service since there's a U.P.S. not too far from where I live and I've never had any trouble from them. Thanks.

AFAIK, there's no way to specify the delivery service. In my case, I find Fed-Ex leaves a lot to be desired, and prefer UPS or USPS.

Unfortunately with Amazon you can't choose the carrier that the seller uses to ship out goods to you. All companies have their preferred carrier.

If you do the two day or one day shipping, you'll have better odds of ups or Fedex delivering it, but in some cases depending upon what you order ups can hand it off it usps. This has only happened a few times when we've ordered things with 2 day shipping with amazon, while the majority of the time it is ups.
