I have a couple of questions for facebook. Please help me because I don't know how to do them.?

So when you like pictures, videos, etc on facebook, it goes to your activity log. when you go to your activity log it shows all of your photos and videos. It also shows on some photos a globe and a lock sign. I was wondering what the glob icon is?

Question 2
Everytime I log into my facebook on my ipod and my friends message me, it doesnt notify me but sends me an emails. How do I take away the emails and get notified from like banners?

Question 3
How do I make my likes from photos private so my friends can't see?

1) that means that you are the only one who can see your activity log.
2) not sure how...sorry
3) if you mean that your friends can see what you like , you cant stop that that is the whole point of facebook.
