isn't this an amazing story.?
'The moment a 39-year-old woman heard for the first time, thanks to cochlear implants, has been captured on video.

Joanne Milne burst into tears when she heard a nurse reading out the days of the week.

Ms Milne, from Gateshead, was born deaf and during her 20s she also began to lose her sight due to the rare medical condition Usher syndrome.

She said she was delighted by the results of the "life-changing" procedure to fit implants'

it made me think of helen keller, socialists wont know who that is with out googling
seeing as though nasty well to do socialists left horrendous remarks on numerous sites doubting the story, guess what keller spoke english with an american accent.

Yep it is an amazing story and I'm glad for her, but forgive me for asking (got to ask) but what has not knowing who Helen Keller was got to do with being a socialist because for the life of me I cannot see the link.

I saw this story on the internet and it was so moving I had a lump in my throat. Imagine being able to hear for the first time in 39 years. I am so happy for her.

It's amazing that many activists are against this type of procedure. Specifically, "God made my child imperfect, and it's wrong for me to change my child."
