You don't use plugins for backlinks. You have to go out manually and get them.

There isnt a plugin for backlinks, but there are plugins that could help seo like:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/addthis/ - People can post your website, or articles on social media websites, like facebook or twitter. If you encourage your readers to do that, it can bring in some powerful backlinks.

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/all-...-seo-pack/ - Helps with your website seo.

Hope that helps Smile.

Backlinks refer to sources sending traffic (visitors) to your website. They are also commonly referred to as Off Page SEO (Search Engine Optimisation.
This is a huge topic & much information can be found freely by doing a search on Google & the like. There is also a huge collection of videos on YouTube.
Here are some quick things you can do to give you a foundation.
Make sure you have submitted your web address to each of the search engines in their Web Master Tools.
Once your site is registered with them this means your site is indexed & they will continue to visit your site for new content. Your content should be quality & original. As a minium 450 words oer item of content is considerdd a good bench mark.
You should the take each the URL of every page of your site, or post & "Ping" those url's to Pingler.
Set up Facebook, Twitter, etc accounts & make sure your website address is clearly defined in HTML code so that it is a clickable link. You should also consider LinkedIn if that is a match for what your site is about. Ping each of those URL's to Pingler

Find relevant forums for your market & join them. Most of these sites allow you to enter your www address. Join in conversations & post good comments. Do not spam them or you will get banned.

Find other blogs in your market place & make good rely comments to posts. Most blogs allow you to put your www address in the comment box.

These are good starting places to begin your Backlink strategy. I hope it helps you.

Well you don't. There is no off-page wordpress plugin. Only plugins that can help you with your on-page optimization. And believe me some of them are NECESSARY if you want to get proper ranks and traffic.
I suggest All In SEO Pack, its easy to use and straight to the point. Its also the most popular and I never had problems with it. Dose almost everything, the only extra plugins you will need are a cache plugin and a sitemap plugin.

Hi,

Like everyone else said above, there are no plugins to help add backlinks to your website.

Backlinks are links on other people's website that directs to your website. There are many ways to earn your backlinks from people such as:

1) Writing amazing content that people would share and link back to
2) Trade links
3) Ask for links
4) If people simply love you, they will link to you.

Refer to the articles below to learn more on how to build your backlinks

Small backlinking strategy : Create a post with 300-400 words. Post in to your Facebook wall and as your friends to share it with others. Post it to twitter and ask your friends to retweet it. Post it to web 2.0 services with high page rank like:
http://tumblr.com
http://yola.com
http://livejournal.com
http://jimdo.com
http://www.squidoo.com/

and bookmark it with:
http://reddit.com
http://slashdot.org
http://stumbleupon.com
http://www.connotea.org
http://delicious.com

Do it with every article you are writing and in 2-3 weeks you will have many healthy backlinks pointing to your site.
