About the other answer & drawing sites?

The drawing and answer site I just use required me to register with username and password, & after I make-out the password, it won't go through the first time, then I had to reset the password & type in other code and may have to go through the same steps few more times to see if I can get the new password to work, and even try making a password to enter through Facebook won't work the first time, so I have to try again & have to do most of the same steps over again to see if the password from Facebook will work, but don't know if it will really work by then.
Then what's the purpose of entering in the correct Username and Password, is it for security/safety, or so that not everyone can go into that site & type in whatever they like to type into that site?
And then is there any kind of drawing or question & answer site that don't require any Username or Password that I have to put in, and so that I can just open that new site & just type my questions in it for it to bring-up an answer for me later?
