First, go to the Wrench Icon at the top right corner. Then, click on it. Next, click on Settings. After that, it should pop up the Settings tab. Scroll down, and click on Show Advanced Settings. Under Privacy, you should see 6 choices: Use a web service to help resolve navigation errors, Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in address bar, Predict network actions to improve page load performance, Enable phishing and malware protection, Use a web service to to help resolve spelling errors, and Automatically send usage statistics and crash reports to Google.
Uncheck: 1. Use a web service to help resolve navigation errors 2. Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar 3. Use a web service to help resolve spelling errors 4. Automatically send usage statistics and crash reports to Google Now, the only things that are checked are: 1. Predict network actions to improve page load performance 2. Enable phishing and malware protection The next thing to speed up Google Chrome is: Scroll down on the settings page, and you should see Network. Click on "Change Proxy Settings" It should pop up the Internet Properties box. Make sure you are on the Connections tab at the top. Once you're on the Connections tab, click on LAN settings at the bottom. Once it popped up, make sure Automatically detect settings is UNCHECKED. Then click OK. Once you're done with everything I showed you, restart Google Chrome (exit out of Google Chrome), and launch it up again. I'm pretty sure you should see a difference, because I did Hope I helped.
