Why is it celebrities get 300 Facebook likes in 5 minutes?

Say, when a celebrity makes a post on Facebook, within 5 minutes, they have 500 likes; by 30 minutes, nearly 10, 000; in a few hours, 27, 000 likes.

Yet if an everyday person like myself makes a post, I am lucky to get just 1 like in an hour.

What is it about these celebs that get so many likes in a short period? It is like the whole world is following them at their feet. Don't everyday people have more to do in their time than follow and ackowledge celebs on the internet?

They will do anything, all of thing are famous.
All posted content are Famous.
So it is not a big meter to get 300 likes with in 5 minutes.

Anyone who has a lot of followers, usually has lot of likes too. Most of the times however, people don't even know what they are liking or whether it is worth liking it; they just like it cos it was stated by the celebrity or the ghostwriting person (because they exist too) and I agree that most of the celebrities do unbelievably redicilus things to get attention.
