how do you delete your facebook account?

Hi There,
To delete your account you have to contact Facebook. However you can deactivate your account per the instructions below:

Click the account menu at the top right of any Facebook page
Select Settings
Click Security in the left column
Click Deactivate your account

As said above, to "delete" an account, has to be contacting Facebook, but deactivate an account doesn't delete it.
</p> However, if you erase all personal data, change the log mail to a new mail, then deactivate the account and then delete the new mail you linked to the Facebook account, then the account will be erased permanently. From some point of view, you have no longer a key to open never again.
