Playstation internet connection failed ?

My playstation was perfect and i moved it into a different room and now this happens . When i go into internet connection test it comes up ip address succeeded but internet connection failed . I have tried turning on and off the ps3 . I have tried resetting the modem . All the ip address codes and dns codes are correct . I cant find out what is wrong . Please HELP !!

We have the same problem with our PS3. Your modem must be too far away from the PS3. When you play online either move the modem into the room where you have put your PS3 or more ideally make sure there is nothing in the way of your Internet connection. Although the latter solution is less effective it is much more practical. My PS3 is located in my parents' bedroom and the modem is in the study on the other side of the house. We open all doors and move all objects disrupting the internet connection. Even then our signal strength is only 22%.

So either move your modem to the room where your PS3 is located or make sure nothing like chairs or doors is disrupting the Internet connection. It works for us
