Is this a legitimate Craigslist ad or a scam. Please I need help, I've never purchased anything from Craigslist before.

Seems legit, try searching to see how much they go for from a trusted site and compare the prices.

Counterfeit tickets are certainly an issue, I'm ignorant as to how you can validate ticket before the event, I would meet in person, ask to see an ID, if they balk, forget it. (it's easier to counterfeit a receipt than the tickets)

Why cant you buy these from a ticket agency? They may seem authentic until you try to use them. Who knows. Life is a risk you take.
