continued Google chrome problem?

I mentioned earlier that I lost the google crhome icon on my newlaptop...operated by Windows...and MANY people wrote in telling me how to simplyplace the icon back onmy desktop....but....but...when Ido this...I sdtill CANNOTget google chrome to operate.......What I did to find the google chrome already installed on my computer was: 1-when to my documents...2-went to program files 3-found google..4-went from there to google chrome...I simply right clickedit and drug to my desktop...5-BUT WH EN I WENT to run it.....it does nothing except to b e super super sluggish in LOADING...I keep getting messatges asking if I want to KILL the program or WAIT...and let it keep running.

Really sad because unless Idid something wrong and initially deleted all of google chrome, then it should run.....it's still in my program files.........
