Why does US Netflix have more content then UK Netflix?
I'm from the UK but managed to get the US version of Netflix yesterday. I couldn't believe how much more content was on there, but they pay the same price. I feel a bit cheated as the UK version literally has about 10 good things on it but the US version has so much more. So does anyone know why the US version is so much better than the UK version?

The US has over five times the population. It's a bigger market.

trust me, i feel you. canadian netflix is just as bad.
since there's a ton of shows and movies made in america, they own the rights therefore they can show it on netflix. meanwhile for the uk and canada, netflix has to pay to get rights to show those shows/movies on their site since it's showing for a different country |

I feel like the UK version is better movie wise, that's coming from my perspective as a US user.
