Help with a girl that may like me back?

So there is this girl I have liked since 5th grade. I am a somewhat shy guy. But what makes it worse is, she is really popular and I am, well, not.

There have been signs to me that she likes me, an example is one time I asked her to sign something, and she signed it on the back in "big and swoopy" letters with a big heart below it. However, she does not even follow me on Instagram.

One to e , she was talking to her friend near my desk before class started. I noticed she looked at me a couple times, so once when she did I brought my head up and looked back. She looked shocked and she said my name and tried to "play it off". Also, we grades each others quizzes, and she got mine. She said, across the class, "(My name), I got yours!" And she was sort of red faced. She would tell me good job and I got a good grade.

Today, we were doing something in class where we when do different stations and took notes on whatever it was. She and I ended up at the same station one time. And, she took the spot along the table next to me. We were there for a couple of minutes and for most of the time, we were touching each other. It was mainly our forearm to shoulder that were touching. And she didn't pull away even though she could have for a while.

Does she like me or is it just my imagination? And how should I talk to her without embarrassing myself? And what should I do next?

I thinked she might like you, say hi to her. Don't be shy, you have a mouth... Use it! So yeah just say hi to her and get to know her. Listen to her. Let her know you're there for her. First become friends with her then QUICK DUDE! Run out of the FRIENDZONE and yeah ask her out

Okay so I'm guessing your in middle school? You should totally talk to her! Even if you really have nothing interesting to say just talk to her. It also seems like she might have a crush on you. If a girl is talking to her friend and looking at you alot then it mostly means she's talking about you, in a good way! How to talk to her without embarrassing yourself? When i talk to my crush I just try to think of anything, you may think your embarrassing yourself but they probably don't think so. It's better than not saying anything at all. And once you successfully talked to her without (completely) embarrassing yourself then try to be her good friend, then ask her out. but don't rush things.

Well you could be bold about it and just ask. You could just play it off for now but she may get bored with you if she likes you and you show no interest. Touching usually shows she is comfortable around you and may even like you. It's your call. What've you got to lose?

K so it does sound like she likes u cuz that's what I would do but you never know I had been messing with This one kid for like a whole year "flirting" with him I guess and he asked me if I like him I was lke no haha I was just messing with you I guess but just tLk to her like any other girl and treat her super nice if she likes it she will get closer to u and stuff but don't just go right out and say I like u just be obvious but not too obvious idk if that makes sense or not but whatever

I definitely agree. She most likely likes you. You sound young, so really you have nothing to lose. Try having simple conversations with her so you cant really embarrass yourself. And the fact that she isn't following you on instagram maybe just means she is playing hard to get good luck!
