What Phone is right for me?
I am in the market for a cell phone but with so many to choose, it's overwhelming.

I will be using my cell phone mostly for just calling and texting probably even some entertainment (movies, games, music just to name a few). I am not a social network person, i don't have a facebook, twitter etc.

I don't really know that much about plans and carriers (i live in Canada by the way so the carriers are different). I'm not sure if i should get a android or windows phone 7 or if i should just get a basic phone. In our answer please tell me the difference between android and windows phone 7.

I have a few phones i would like if you can, tell me if they are good or not and if not explain and provide a suggestion:
HTC Wildfire S
HTC HD7
Motorola Atrix

I think you should get an Android. Motorola Atrix 4G is a very good Android phone with dual-core processor but I would suggest you LG Optimus 2X. It's very reasonably priced and it's simply awesome in performance. You just want a phone with basic features like for calling-texting-music bcoz you've not used a smartphone yet. With the Android smartphones, you will enjoy everything about them, about the possibilities. It's time to explore more and be a smartphone geek Smile If you need any of these phones or any smartphone cheaper, you can mail me to manchurianp@yahoo.com

If you are considering a basic phone as one of your options then i do believe you ought to get a windows phone. thats not to say its anything like a basic phone but that its very easy to use...things just work and you dont need to play with one for a long time to get the hang of it. Plus its got the xbox live for those boring moments and a really nice music player. I understand you dont use facebook (or twitter) but with the seamless way its integrated into the OS, you might find yourself using it (or at least checking updates) just the way you might check to see if you got an sms.

The HTC HD7 is a great phone but i personally think the samsung focus and omnia 7 are better. Whichever windows phone you choose though, you are guaranteed to have a similar nice experience so its not that much of an issue.

Go for an iPhone. They get great service, good battery, and awesome features.
