its this girls birthday and i really like her but im afraid of talking to her... is it ok to dm this girl happy birthday or would she think im just trying to get with her
were freshmen in highschool

I think it'll be okay..just a friendly happy birthday should be fine. Especially if you know each other, etc.

depends on the girl. I suggest that you know her personality before doing any such move. Women, most of them, are to be treated as mental patients because this is in reality how they are.
