Twitter Question?? Please help!?

Okay, so for instance if I am following Oprah, and want to respond to a status..I respond, and it pops up as my status..Will Oprah get my message i responded too? Can they respond back? I am confused

To respond, you put @ right before the username. Like with Oprah's you write @Oprah (or whatever it is). They will see it in their feed or if they go to your twitter page.

You shouldn't think about it as a status like on facebook, but rather just a message that says what you're doing. It appears on your twitter page and in the feeds of the people following you.

If the people following you have the tweets going to their cell phones, they won't get any that have been directed to someone else. Just those directed to nobody or to them.
