I have a crush on my classmate. Should I talk to her on social media, as my initial step?
I am from India and I just moved to USA, its just been 4 months so i am kinda new here, but I have a crush on my class mate And I can not really come up with anything on how to start a convo. with her. We talk casually during our soccer practice and at parties, but I dont know how to take the next step.

I reply to her tweets(rarely) and also have a picture of her and me as my DP on facebook and also changed her DP to the same picture as mine (:

But still confused what should I do? :/
I am going to ask her for prom though .. Should I? Please help..

Yes i would just go and talk to her. The longer you leave it the harder it will get. IF you've not talked to her in the next two weeks. Give up.

Just go up to her and say hey as casual as possible. The more calm you are the more natural the conversation will flow. Talk about something common to the both of you like something thats happening or happened at school. Your teacher is being a twit? Bring that up and talk to her about it!! After this the conversation will progress itself and you wont even have to try.

Yes definitely ask her to prom, dont be all shy about it. Ask as if you know shes going to say yes to seem like youve got the confidence. Girls dont like guys who cant go for what they want. Ask in confidence, and good things shall come. Just say "Hey, i would really love it if you would go to the prom with me" We dont have prom's in my country so i dont really know how they work but try that

Girls like confidence, and I hate to tell you this but social media may not be the route to take. Before you make any moves with her make sure you're pretty close to her. I've had guys ask me out who I've said 2 words to, so my first advice is always to make sure you guys are close. At first try dropping small hints. It sounds like she likes you too If she has a picture of you and her for her DP it sounds like she also is (dropping small hints). You should ask her to prom too.
