I think my old best friend blocked me because they're in a relationship now. I don't know if I'm really blocked or not, but:

I couldn't search them on Facebook although we were friends. I had to find them through my messages inbox on Facebook. But I can't add them as a friend, but I am not their friend! I can only see a limited profile. This means I'm blocked aren't I…

You can keep anyone and everyone from finding you. As far as blocking goes when you are their friend, well yes you either made them mad or they are jealous or they don't want you to see something.
