Indians and Social Networking?
So I have multiple facebook accounts and I add internet friends as well as IRL friends. One consistent thing I have noticed is if I add one person from India, their friends send me friend requests, like all of them.
Is this a cultural thing? Like they want to get to know people? Ads |

No, they don't want to get to know people. They are green diggers. They are interested in greenbacks and green cards. They see Americans as a source of greenbacks and green cards.

No.
You have an issue with a few Indians and you post about it and fools go on generalizing 2 billion people. This is what Yahoo has become. |

Yeah I think so. It might be a cultural thing from the mainland and may be more acceptable there. Ppl raised here don't really do it like the fobs do. But I've had random Indians who are friends with my relatives friend request me. But I don't really accept b/c I only use Fb for ppl I actually know in real life. They could be adding you because they want to get to know ppl, think you're attractive, or just plain expand their friends' list.
But I HIGHLY doubt they're trying to get greencards, that seems kind of far-fetched to me. If anything that might be a really RARE thing. |
