Should I post this on facebook? Short question!?
So there is like a ton of people all complaining about their lives and relationship statuses on facebook. I don't want to be a jerk but I kinda want to put them in their place. I would post, "Think about this picture the next time you are about to post a status update the next "tragic" life story"

Would it be too mean? Would people besides the ones I am aiming for be offended? Would my sisters think its mean (both in 20s and friends on facebook). If it is a little harsh, how could I tone it down a little bit?

Please help, its bugging the crap out of me with all these posts like ,"You never said goodbye.", "Life sucks", "**** life", "My parents just don't understand", "

I think you should not because you could easily end up in Facebook drama of your own as well.

Sure, post it. You probably have too many Facebook friends.

Your passive-aggressive plan won't work. People will not see themselves in this even if you did post it. People will like it, including those who are targeted because, as I said, they will think you mean "other people"....certainly not them.

If it annoys you so much that people post negativity, unfriend them. You could change your status to read that you will be unfriending anyone who continues to post only negative comments about their lives or others. If your sisters are the ones doing this, talk to them and tell them how it looks to others to read these posts.

Or, you could try just commenting with "TMI" on some of these posts or "Sucks to be you...." on others.
