Will I get in trouble for making this Instagram account?

I decided to make an account for fun that I would go on Facebook and take teacher pictures and post them on Instagram the principle was mad and desperately trying to find out who did it could they track an ip for this could I get in trouble with police even though the pictures were technically already public. Also if I delete the account would they still be able to track me??

Yes, they can track you, and yes you could get in a lot of trouble.

Teacher is a profession where reputation is everything. If you cause anyone to get a bad image of any teacher by making any false statements or fake accounts, you (your parents if under 18) could be sued for a ton of money and you could possible face criminal charges.

Realistically, maybe you get suspended from school and 20 or 30 hours of community service for delinquency or online harassment if this is your first offense of any kind.
