When watching live stream.. Ping or DownloadSpeed?

Which is more important.. a low ping or a high download speed. I know both are need for a steady stream but which one could live without the other?

low ping for faster browsing [say stream]
high ping for faster downloading

A low ping will be more beneficial when gaming as it basically means the response time, for example how long it will take for you to see something that somebody else has done on another internet connection, such as somebody moving in Call of Duty. For streaming, a low ping is certainly not required - and just about any connection should be sufficient as long as you have a high download speed.

Download speed certainly takes priority over low ping for streaming and the opposite for gaming
