i failed a class parents are pissed at me?

okay i failed all of last semester and a semester this year. its my fault. i hate school they forced me to go. i hated every second of it. i am at a community college and hate it i have never liked school. i am unhappy with it i hate it. they forced me to go. they put way to much pressure on me. i hated all of it. they are mad at me. i want to join the marines and now they wont support that because of this. please help me

well even with marines you still need a basic understanding of what you learn in school!

I have a friend whose going into the armed forces and they require an 80 avg overall and they look at the sciences because it really depends on what you want to be right? Like you can be a demolition expert. (that would require physics, chemistry for obvious reasons)

if you want to be a sniper. You'd obviously need to be physically fit but physics would a must (wind direction and distance must be taken into account before taking a shot)

you see what I'm getting at here?

basically, your parents can't force you to succeed, you have to put it on yourself to do so.

you want to be a marine? you're going to need alot more than just looks, luck and physical fitness! (in my opinion)

It is clearly their fault, they have not recognised your strenghts, interests and limitations. You go ahead and just tell them that you are not sorry at all, and that as adult parents they should have taken more time analysing the above characterisitic rather than confusing them with what they want or what they were like as teenagers.

I think you should go and do some mining in Australia, you get taken to these awesome small towns in the desert and get paid heaps. Dont enter a career where you kill people for oil.. come one bro, dont you have access to any social media or tv? Cheers
