My Facebook account is sending spam?
I don't know if it's facebook doing this, or a hacker, but my facebook account sometimes sends other people messages, whether it be promoting something or advertising. And it's not me who's doing it, so is that facebook or is my account being hacked? I still have access to my account, but sometimes I post things on other people's walls or even sometimes they post random things on mine? I know it's not them actually posting, but still what is that?

Simple: Change your facebook password and verify the account recovery e-mail address is still yours.

You probably clicked on a link which took you to some page that sends stuff to every one of your friends. Just don't click on random links that get posted to your wall. Sometimes it will even put a comment on the link saying "Wow! You should look at this". Just make sure you know it's a normal link before clicking it. It's happened to me twice with things like wow, look at this rollercoaster! etc.

Sometimes the apps that you allow say "Allow to contact your friends" etc., and then you allow the app creaters to do this. then they get paid by other advertisers to send spam. Just delete your apps and it will stop.

It's complicated since your unaware of how this can be done. Create a new Facebook if you can and try not to put random applications on it. When you allowing a app never let the setting 'post as me' slip by. It's sort of hacking I guess... You may also delete the apps, but you have to delete the right ones. If you don't use them, delete them. Simple. Smile Good luck!
