Question about Amazon billing in bank account?
I was wondering when you buy stuff on Amazon, what does it show up on the bill statement of your bank? Like does it say it was just an Amazon purchase? I have to use someone elses card and I don't want them to know what I am buying. Will it say what I bought and who it's from other then amazon? Like it's on amazons website but the seller isn't amazon so will that show or no?
Thanks!! Ads |

It will say amazon but they can easily look up what you bought from the transaction id!

It all depends on exactly what you buy. Many items that are shown on Amazon.com are actually sold by third-party vendors. It is often these vendors who will bill the card, and the name of that vendor is likely to be on the bill. It won't show WHAT you bought, but it may show who sells it.

It will either say 'Amazon.com' or 'AMAZON MKTPLACE PMTS', depending on if it was from Amazon or someone selling on Amazon. It does not matter if you purchased it from Amazon directly or a marketplace seller on Amazon since Amazon pays them and takes the money from you. There is no way for the credit card owner to know what you purchased unless they have access to your amazon account. It DOES NOT say anything on the statement about items, order numbers or who the seller if it wasn't amazon.
