How do you make Facebook pages look better?

If you go on Harvard University's Facebook page, there are pictures and things. I'm trying to manage my parent's business Facebook, and I can't figure out how. Help!

I think because it's a fan page, when you go into settings and making the fan page, it will give you a different layout to profiles! Make a fan page by going onto another fan page and under the profile picture, at the bottom of that column there should be something saying 'create a page' and just follow what it says!
