An SEO campaign is just the process they set up and recommend for a company. It gives you a list that can be followed of tactics, keywords, and more that they will be using to bring you business. It can refer to pay per click/ view (same thing), or to organic search engine optimization. If you're looking at going with a company, find out if they're talking about organic seo or pay per click. If they're doing pay per click, ask if they run the campaign from your site and if it includes onsite search engine optimization as this helps lower your cost per click with Google. When you're looking at any type of SEO, a good company will start with YOUR website and build on it - not just landing pages.

No, SEO campaign doesn't means PPC only though it can incorporate. When that company talked about SEO campaign it might be:

1) Onpage SEO
2) Offpage SEO
3) Reputation Management
4) PPC
5) SMM

It would be better if you ask them about this.

SEO - search engine optimization enables you to set your website up in such a way so as to make the search engines (Yahoo, Bing, etc.) believe that the information on your website is useful. The more the search engines like your website, the higher it will rank,. The higher it ranks, the greater the likelihood is that your traffic will increase. If your site reaches page one of Google - especially position 1 -3 for a keyword phrase that gets a lot of traffic, the greater the chances are that you will get a lot fo organic traffic.

PPC - Pay Per Click is a different way to increase traffic to your website. SEO can be thought of as "free traffic." PPC is paid traffic. You bid on keyword phrases for better placement. The higher you bid, the more likely it is that you will be positioned near the top of search pages. Again, this will increase traffic to your site. Two of the most popular PPC sites are Google and MSN - MSN is for Yahoo and BIng, amongst other sites.

The training program costs just $1 to start. As it says on their website, ",,,“PPC Coach is the pay per click marketing forum that offers all the Training, Tools, Community, and 1-on-1 Support You Need to Succeed Online..."

If you have a website, you can get PPC ads on your site and get paid. Consult Google's Adsense program for this.
