do my direct messages on twitter com up on my phone bill?

i have AT&T and iPhone 4 and my mom says that there were messages from the internet or something like that. i have the twitter app and kik, i use those to talk to people sometimes. do the messages from those apps come up on my phone bill? if not what other messages come up besides the ones from the regular iMessage or the messages from other phones? thank you

noo. i have an ipod touch and i use kik and twitter. direct messaging doesn't cost at all and kik doesn't cost at all either. all my friends use it, iphone and android. there's gotta be some mistake. maybe look at the bill yourself?
