Google chrome has gone all weird?

I opened google chrome today and usually when i open it it comes up with my most visited or recently visited websites or whatever it is and that layout has changed and also the default search engine had been changed to something called fun moods but ive changed that back now. And also when i Google something like Facebook I'll click Facebook and it'll open it in another tab instead of just going to it in the same tab. How do i get it back!

I quit using google chrome and started using safari and I love it!
