Google Crome not working, no malware/viruses detected?
I'm using an HP that runs Windows 7 and for about the past month I haven't been able to use Google Chrome unless I'm in incognito mode. Other browsers work fine. If I run Chrome in regular mode it freezes after a few seconds of being open. Even after unfreezing it will only take about a minute to freeze up again. I've run both Norton and Malwarebytes to see if there was any sort of virus but they both came up empty. I also ran CCleaner many times and have uninstalled and re-installed Chrome and the problem still persists. I have even gone further back to an earlier restore point to try and fix it. I'm getting desperate to fix this. I've tried solutions like logging out of my linked google account, making a new account, disabling all of my extensions, but nothing works. I'm thinking it might have something to do with a virus I did have on my computer not too long before this started to happen. It wasn't a very bad virus, it caused all of my internet browsers to freeze on start up. It was easily removed with Malwarebytes and everything worked fine again, but maybe a week after that I started having this current problem. I've searched everywhere on the internet and cannot find a solution. Please let me know if there is something I can do in the simplest terms possible, as I don't think I'm too terribly computer savvy. Thank you.
Literally none of you have read past the first sentence of my question and have been absolutely no help
