How do I put Facebook Like button on website?

I know how to get the iFrame code from the Facebook Developers site but how and Where do I put it on the website? The website uses osCommerce. I'm not sure if it uses JavaScript or not. Should the code be posted in a new Banner OR placed in the File Manager? I'm really confused and have been trying to fix this for days. :-(

I want the 'F' and the Like button on the Home Page. Someone please help me. Please answer in simple english also as I am not a website developer. That would greatly help. Thank you.
