And be honest, not nice!

"Every human being should be allowed to be proud of who they fundamentally are. It would seem wrong for a fat person to hate fat people, or a soccer player to hate soccer players. I'm Irish, Italian, English, Greek, and I'm proud. Lately if a white person is proud of their history and culture they are deemed a racist. This is not fair or healthy. Everyone else is allowed to be proud of their heritage, culture and people. Why is anybody white not allowed that same luxury in America? Well guess what, I am proud. Not in a "I'm better than anyone" way. Because we all have our contributions and no race is better in an objective sense. But nothing is more unhealthy than someone who hates their fundamental being. Everyone should be proud of who they are- mixed of course, with a healthy respect and admiration for others as well. Too many whites today cave into the peer pressure and have started fundamentally hating themselves, apologizing for white slavery when every other race has had slaves at some point as well- Carthage and Egypt had white slaves, Africa still does, mainland china had slaves, the Mayans and incas had slaves, list goes on. But too many white people are cowards and give in to the peer pressure, they start to make fun of their own people. I'm just here to say that I will take on the entire fucking world, I will lose friends, even die before I ever lose pride and acceptance of who I am"

I wouldn't think you're racist (and I'm not white, if that matters to you). But honestly, I'd think you're a little obnoxious. It's sort of your own personal thing, and doesn't affect anyone else, yet you wrote so much about it as if your opinion is so profound and important, it's not. Do you ever get annoyed when people post something like "I'm so proud of graduating college" and you're like "who gives a fuq?" Well, this is 1000 times more obnoxious because at least graduating from college is something you accomplished. Saying you're proud of your race is like saying you're proud to be good looking or some other thing you were born with. How can anyone read that and not shake their head. Your ethnic background is not even something that affects your life, no less the lives of other people to bother reading 250 words about it (I'm guessing, that's how long it looks). But I digress, it's not racist. The fact that you're proud of your culture and heritage is not really even related to race. I'm proud to be American but I'm not Native American. But I suppose some people might think you're racist because why wouldn't anyone post something like this unless to imply some sort of racial message. (i.e. whites should be proud) It's not that white people can't be proud of their culture, it's just that white people have a history of taking that too far. You understand this right? It's not that burning a cross is inherently evil, but there's a history behind it. That's why it's illegal to do so. Understand? You should try to see things beyond the black and white. But to re-iterate, I personally have no problem with what you said.
