Ebay help guys ASAP!?
So I just got Ebay and I wanted to buy something but it was up for bid. It said
Time Left: 6days 21 hours
and I don't know if that is the time for the bidding to finally be won or for the entire thing to just go off sale. How do I purchase an item whilst being the only and highest bidder.

So there are two things to keep in mind here. The first is the auction, the second is the buy-it-now button. I'm assuming the item you were looking at had both options. The buy-it-now lets a bidder purchase an item outright for a predetermined price. This stops the auction immediately, and allows the bidder to buy the item for that price. If it said 6 days, 21 hours that would signal the end of both: the auction and the buy-it-now.

You can hit buy-it-now if you like the price. However, if you think it's not going to get a lot of bids you can wait to see throughout the duration of the auction whether or not the price goes up by much. Beware however, because someone else can easily buy it and end the auction. Also, the bidding for items usually gets very intense near the end of auctions. In other words you will not necessarily know if there is a lot of interest until the last couple of minutes.

Finally, if it's a high-ticket item, there may be a reserve. This means that the seller is not obligated to make a transaction until the item has hit that reserve price. Your best bet is to buy-it-now, or wait, watch, and become the highest bidder. It can be hard to do if there are multiple people waiting until the last second though. Good luck!

If it has 6 days left you can put it in your watch list and wait until the last day to bid. 6 days 21 hours is the time the auction will be up. You place a bid on it and wait to see what happens. 6 days is a long auction period. You wont know until the last second if you have won it.
